Peak Design camera clip attachments durability?

I have and E-M1 and ditched the less than useful Olympus strap after needing to be able to remove it in windy conditions when tripod mounted.  After about 18 months the Peak Design strap and camera clip attachments (which I changed to after not extensive research) have done well, there is no visible wear of the braided cords and I have two pairs attached to the Oly lugs so I can change regularly to rest the others.  My lenses are mainly 40-150mm f/2.8 and occasionally 12-40mm f/2.8.

I have ordered a new set of clip attachments (should arrive before I collect the 300mm f/4) just to be sure, and at my wife's behest.  I do hold the camera whenever possible to avoid unnecessary strain on any item that might just decide to fail.

Has anyone experienced a failure of the Peak Design clip attachments?

Regards, Mark Davidson
