Yes, I was an early buyer of the X-E1 and paid a lot more than $300.00 for it.

Just the same I've never been sorry I bought the camera and, with the exception of blazing autofocus speed (especially tracking), I think it's still one of the best cameras around.

Current prices for that camera and the 18-55mm lens are ridiculously low and when you see used prices for cameras like the Sony RX100III and IV it's amazing that so many people who claim to be photographers would choose something like that over a camera like the X-E1.

Naturally, people with small hands or a point & shoot mentality may be better served by the Sony.
