Hi guys,

Just bought an external mic for the K01......I find the sound level indicators in the menu...internal/external......and can adjust them.......

Can the sound levels be seen while recording?......I thought I had seen them before but can't find it in the manual and no sound levels appear on the rear screen! What settings do I need to see the sound levels?

Too many different cameras and menus!

Thanks in advance!

Dave I'm thinking that may have been implemented on the K5 or K3?

Don't do video myself.

No, I don't think the K-01 has the two vertical sound-level meters on left and right of the LCD that the K-3 has. K-S2 also has those, I think.

Watch for automatic attenuation of volume when there is a spike in volume. The onboard K-01 mics did that a little harshly; it improved with offboard mics but was still there, as I recall. I have not found the same effect on K-S2 or K-3, and I use those now.
