I don't understand why someone could not use the nx300 to make a video. If going pro at the very least a demo should be possible. My uncle made almost 100k off a gh2 movie he put together himself. I'm sure it was a lot of work but overall be enjoyed it. Took awhile for it to get into places like red box. I think he gambled out the money but whatever. Sadly the money flow for him ended shortly after it found its way onto youtube. But he isn't even mad. He made more than he expected and now he's working on his second movie.
You can produce a "movie" with any device that can capture any image (pinhole cameras, super 8, camera phones, usb cameras etc).
GH2 is a better video camera than NX300 though. What is the movie you did mention? I would like to take a look if possible, even a trailer would be ok.
