Both Tamron and Sigma have some good lenses, but with any manufacturer,  including Canon, some lenses are not as good as others.

The Sigma Art series of lens are known to be good, such as their 50mm and the 18-35 mm f/1.8 (which is made for crop-sensor bodies).  The latter is an 800$us lens, though, so it ain't cheap.

Canon 18-135mm STM kit lens is highly thought of around here as a good starting lens for Canon crops.
