Per the Imaging Resources review, can anyone further expand on any potential issues of using the Pen-F with the pro lenses and a tripod plate? Ideally, RRS would take this into consideration when producing their inevitable L-plate...but just wondering if anyone has an issue as of yet. I'm guessing the Olympus Grip with Arca-Swiss plate may be built to take this into account??

RRS hasn't produced an L bracket fot the E M1 yet...might be a long wait for the Pen F.

They did...right here

That is a plate set, not an L bracket...which was the original question. I believe RRS makes these sets for bodies for which they do not yet make L brackets.

I use it on my E-M1...I really don't what is the different beside semantic....beside rss call them all l-plate.

I called RRS and there are 2 forms of L plates...the traditional 1-piece L bracket (maybe an old term, too) and the newer modular 2-piece plate set.  You are right, both do the same thing...just one is a single piece the other is a 2 piece set.

The part that they have not yet released for the E M1 is a grip which may also be the base plate for the L plate set...I didn't ask as I have the battery grip.

The Joben ballhead(s) look like what I'm going to need to replace my Manfrotto head with their proprietary QR plates.  RRS heads get pretty pricey.
