Hi Thank you for your reply Ian

One other piece of advice I have is to make sure you go into the menu and turn off "reset lens." This is an annoying feature turned on by default on Olympus cameras so as when you power down your zoom lens will forget its settings. You need to go into the gear menu (cog), AF/MF and make sure that reset lens is turned to "off" if you want your lens to stay at the length it was when you powered off your camera body. This applies for all power zoom lenses including the Olympus 14-42 EZ and the Olympus 12-50 also.

Make sure you turn on the 0 second anti-shock settings with this lens also to get best results.
