I believe,

If you are using the eye level viewfinder, I believe that, but my camera is broken so I cannot check, a television set will show the same stuff as the back of the camera.

So before the shot, you'll see settings on the back.

After the shot, if you do nothing else, you'll still see settings.

But if you press the little triangle button, the back of the camera and the television will both show the most recent photograph taken.

Then you can navigate backwards to see pictures you took earlier.

(Here's where I'd like my camera to work, so I could check)

I think (but do not know for sure) that the TV and the camera back will show the same picture, which will move around until you press the shutter release.

At this stage, you should be able to press the triangle button, and see the photo you just took.
