Looking for a multipurpose, street/walking around lens. I currently just have the E-PL6 kit lens, the 9mm fisheye body cap lens and the Olympus 45mm 1.8.

I just ordered an E-PL6 and I was on the waiting list for that Panasonic 25mm too but like you I missed out. I'm going to get the Panasonic 20mm. I have owned it before and loved it. It has the unique ability to turn a small camera into a very slim high quality pocket camera. Well, jacket pocket. I like the 40mm view and yes it does focus more slowly than any other lens, but it's fast enough.

There is also the underrated Olympus 17mm 2.8 pancake which nobody seems to love. Some of my favorite photos are taken with this lens though and the tiny size and price are agreeable.

I am a little concerned about the reports of banding with the 20mm and the 16mp Olympus cameras but I'll try it out for myself and see what happens.

I have nothing against the Olympus 25mm, never used it. There are a wealth of choices now - the 20, Sigma 19, three 25mm, Sigma 30mm, and maybe some I'm missing. But I will eventually get the Panasonic 25mm 1.4, I rented it and love that one too. I find it more suited to home/family/party use than travel though.
