X70 in the hand. Not perfect, but a keeper.

I received my X70 2 days ago. Love the size. Significantly smaller than the x100T in your hand. In general, I agree with most of what was written on DP today in the "X70 Shooting Experience" piece.
The buttons are perhaps a grade below premium, and the 4 way controller is a bit jammed up next to the screen. My hands aren't particularly big, though, and I have no problem. The Movie Record button is very difficult to press, as reported. A tad too flush. I have it set for the Manual Exposure Preview so that I can disengage the preview when shooting indoors with a flash. I wouldn't set this button to anything you need in a hurry. If you set the 4 way controller to moving the focus, that leaves 3 other customizable buttons other than the Movie button. You can set the Fn button, the Trash button on the tilting screen, and a new button on the side opposite the grip. Works well as a flash function button. The power toggle end is a bit too short for me when powering down, with my finger sometimes having trouble sliding it back. Powering on is no trouble.
The lens seems great. Very sharp from wide open. Can't really comment on the extreme corners as I'm not an extreme corners shooter. The AF is good, on par with the X100T, but not like the 16-55 on the XT1 (which is immediate and silent). There is a tiny back and forth before locking on. Not a leap forward, but not holding the camera back either.
The one feature that almost caused me to send the camera back is the touch shooting. the touch focus is great. In fact, I may set the 4 way controller back to Function mode, because it's so much quicker and easier to just touch the focus area. When you go to touch shoot, however, it is not immediate like an Oly system. You have to hold your finger on the spot for a second or 2 for it to fire. I'm hoping this can be firmware improved, as I would use this feature with my children. The touch focus with the shutter button, however, is very good, and overrode my dissapointment at the touch shooting.
The sensor you know and love. No difference that I can see.
Some samples. All shot RAW and processed in LR.
