Re: how is it for video?

I just got a used copy last Friday. It's pretty good, but it doesn't make my heart race like the Olympus 25mm f1.8. One thing that I've encountered is that when shooting video (which is a rarity for me) it makes a grinding noise while focusing that is picked up in the recording. It's a bit odd because it is absolutely silent when focusimg stills.

The jury is still out on the sharpness or lack thereof. When I export to a 17-inch JPEG (long edge) it makes a fine image, but that's partly the result of jamming all those pixels together.

Curious if others have had this grinding issue and how ell it continuous focuses for video.  Love my 20mm f1.7 for stills, but when used for video indoors, even with ISO at 1600, it hunts too much for video.
