I say try it!

I have said it time and time again that the 14mm f2.5 is a useless lens because the 12-32mm is just as good at 14mm, wider when you want it, and the 20mm, also a pancake, is just as good as the 14 in low light but with more bokeh.

However, although I have both the 12-32 and the 20, I simply can't bring myself to get rid of the 14.  It just feels so right on my GM1.  The black matches perfectly, its shorter than the 12-32, and the combo looks like a non-ICL camera.  Something about not having to extend the lens like on the 12-32 makes it simpler.  I have a Panasonic pinch-type lens cap on it (for some reason, it's actually thicker) and it looks...industrial.  I'm keeping it.

My planned native GM1 line up will be as follows: 7.5, 12-32, 14, 15/8, 20, 35-100, 42/1.7
