I thought I'd post some shots from my recent trip to Charlotte. I used a variety of lenses (10mm fisheye, 16-50mm PZ, 50-150mm S). All were shot RAW and edited in LR6. Hopefully you enjoy them and get an idea of places to go if you ever end up in the area.

Composite shot of US Airways Flight 1549 that landed in the Hudson River back in 2009. The aircraft is in the Carolina's Aviation Museum. One of the survivors was on hand giving a first hand account to a group of elementary school students there in the life raft.

Another composite shot.

The radome was very prominent so I decided to make it the star of the shot

Charlotte-Douglas Airport maintains an overlook for the public. A nice spot for anyone that is into aviation.

Bracketed shot of the home of the NFC and possible SB 50 champs. I'm a Pittsburgh Steelers fan btw

The panther statue

Another take on the panther statue

Wasn't brave enough to shoot pedestrians from the front but wanted to get some 50-150 S street test shots in.

Bracketed shot of the NASCAR HOF.

How far is......

Nice shots, interesting travel (I have some relatives living there!). I like the 50-150 more and more, for what I am seeing it has a unique quality, different than L 70-200 or Nikkor lenses, unfortunatelly I can't afford it!
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Kisasha!  I really love the 50-150.  I was in the same boat as you until the spare parts thread gave me the chance at this lens half price.  I would've never justified buying at full price.  I'm sorry the exif data was stripped but I used it for pics 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8.  Oh and the OIS is amazing!
