Continuity test

My E-M5 has two areas on either side of the hotshoe edge where the paint is omitted, and provides continuity; it came this way. I've never had a problem with it using several old OM series flashes (T-20, T-32), and even the high trigger voltage QA310 flashes from the original OM-1/2 with a hotshoe adapter.

I suspect either your triggers are defective, or your E-M5 is.
