Hi,

the best way to take 4K Videos is to choose the manual Video mode with "M".

Shutter Speed 1/50 or 1/100, then you have to choose the fitting F-Stop to have no over- or underexposure.

Your benefit it that you have no "jumps in brightness" in your video (when using "A" you will have it)

What if you pan or move the camera to very different lightning or the lightning changes dramatically during a clip?

If the lightning really changes dramatically I have the possibility to correct during filming manually. So I have only one jumg of brightness.

Normaly, the lightning do not changes dramatically and I´m very economical with panning the camera.

Please note that you will see every inaccuracy in 4Video better than in FHD.

I dont think the wrong exposure or "jumps" looks any different in 4k than in fullhd. Focusing will.

This is a generall tip to work more accurate in 4K.

If you want to use an open F-Stop you should use ND-Filters.

Only if I want a slow shutter speed in bright light. Normally there is no harm for me if the SS is higher than 2 x frame rate. My TV can handle sharp motion smoothly with 30P 4k.

In Europe the G7 has 25P in 4K, and I wrote you should use 1/50 (higher than 2 x frame rate) or 1/100s (higher than 4 x frame rate). If you have 30P in 4K you shuuld use 1/60s or 1/120s. It´s always important that the shutter speed is divisible through the frame rate.

Hi,
