Quick release plate for NX500?
I wonder how these are produced. A mold? Just curious, in this day and age of 3D printing, if there are ways to consumers like us to design and fabricate 10-20 of these at a time if third party manufacturers won't.

Side:
You can see that it doesn't align with the body. It's quite askew which causes it to block the side door and create a significant gap.

Bottom:

The bottom is less askew but still enough to block the battery door on the right side while also creating a significant gap at the end.
You might be able to use a tool to slim the right side enough to allow the battery door to open. I'm not sure I will because it's so far off elsewhere. I may try it the way it is. I don't change batteries that often and could carry a wrench and take it off should I need to change batteries.
