why I like my WR kit lenses
why I like my WR kit lenses

When I upgraded to the K-3 a few months ago, I didn't have the extra money to buy a premium weather-sealed lens like the DA* series. But I hated to have a weather-sealed camera without any WR lenses to go with it. So to tide me over, I got a K-50 kit with the 18-55 and 50-200 WR lenses (the black and white Storm Trooper one!).
Obviously the IQ isn't in the same league as the Limited primes, but this weekend's snow storm reminded me why I got them. I was able to play out in the snow without giving a second thought to keeping my camera dry, and I love the look of photos with snow pouring down.
