I was surprised by how well the new X-Pro2 held up against Sony's a7 cams.  Pretty impressive results for an APS-C sensor.  The a7ii and a7rii end up being slightly better, in my view, but I didn't expect the X-Pro2 to hold up as well as it did.  I wonder how it stacks up in terms of dynamic range and color depth.  What do you think accounts for the impressive performance?  Just the march of technological progress (even if the a7 cams are about a year old or less) or does it have something to do with the x-trans sensor?  It'll be interesting to see if the rumored a6000 sensor comes close to or beats the Fuji (and it'd be interesting to see what effect that has on the a7 line).
