Would you bother with the 12mm F2, 17mm f1.8 or 45mm f1.8 if you had the 12-40 f2.8 Pro?

My thoughts are stick with the 12-40 ... A great weatherproof lens.

GO THROUGH YOUR EXIF FILES AND SEE WHAT IS YOUR NATURAL FL.

Also look to see what sort of photography you do with this FL.

If this is thre type of photography that would benefit from a small discrete fast lens then that would be a good starting point.

for me that FL is the 17/1.8 ... The old classic 35mm which is what the X100 would give you.

For others it would be 25mm ( 50mm equivalent)  ... But we all see the world differently --
