Kenko Teleplus MC4 AF 1.4 DG for my Sigma 500 EX DG APO

Bought it half a year ago, because somewhere I found a recommendation to use it in conjunction with the Sigma 500 prime lens, over the Sigma converter.

Took a while to get used to it, but the results are amazing.

The degradation in image quality is almost negligible.

I take pictures of wildlife, birds especially, and I use the whole thing -handheld, and not with a tripod (just "my thing").

lightweight, sturdy build, tight fit to camera and lens, and good lock.

Photo-wise, no appreciable degradation, as far as I can tell.

Very noisy!!

Some pictures I took, to illustrate
