Help Needed! EOS Rebel T3i Shutter Lock

Hello there! This is my first time to post question here. I got a very big problem with my T3i. This morning I was taking a few testing pictures with my new arriving sigma 17-50. At one shot, the shutter closed but never release. I wait a minute it is still closed. The viewfinder is black and the display is also black. I had to turn off the camera and back on and took out the battery and back. It still doesn't work. The display is black, all the buttons are not working. I took the lens off and I saw the shutter is closed and the mirror is lifted.

Is there a quick fix to this? I had this camera for 3 years and it's out of warranty. I don't want to spend several hundred dollars to fixing it causing this camera only worth around 300 dollars now.

More over, will a bad lens cause such a problem? I got the sigma 17-50 from ebay and I wanted to test it today. After a few shots, my T3i was broken. Would the new lens relate to the problem?

Any recommendations? Thank you.
