Building full-frame system - f4 vs f2.8

Sorry to spam the forum with lots of questions over the last few days. Just recently stepped into the full-frame world with a D750. Hence all these spams

Need suggestions on building an f4 full-frame system vs f2.8 FF system. What are the pros and cons?

I'm leaning toward building an f4 system and compliment it with primes. I have a 24-120 f4 and really like it except when I'm indoors. Thinking about adding 70-200 f4. Already have a 85 prime. Will add a 50 1.8 and a 180 1.8 (that whenever Nikon upgrades the AF-D version). I hardly go wider than 24. If in future my interest changes will add a 20mm prime or 16-35 f4.

Having said that, F4 lenses are not cheap either. So want to discuss all options before biting the bullet. So thinking about it from future perspective as well. Leaping from D90 into full-frame world, I want to make it a one-time investment and forget about it for next 10 years (if I can)
