That's rude and unnecessary. And I don't like touchscreen focus; I'm sure I'm not alone with that. Sure, it only takes a tap, but the camera will be somehow suspended with one hand alone because the other hand is busy tapping and can't stabilize the lens, and the viewfinder isn't used and thus the third point of stabilization, the brow, isn't used either.

In anything but perfect conditions, this will result in camera shake and blurry images.

On the other hand, I wouldn't want to use a camera without the quick focus selection that most newer Olympus models have. The E-P3 didn't, and I was so happy when the E-M5 allowed me to move the focus point just with the directional buttons without switching mode first.
