So I decided to switch to micro four thirds and went for the OMD EM10 with a Panasonic 14-140 and Olympus 25 mm F1.8. I´ve now used the camera for well over a year, but I´ve never liked it. It´s too small, and I find the controls counterintuitive. Autofocus is really terrible, and it takes too long to adjust the point of focus, I´ve missed so many shots. And it can´t be used for moving subjects at all. So finally this last week I sold it. Instead I got a Panasonic GX8 - and my passion for photography is back. What a camera! Love the size of it, well thought out controls, just so easy to use!

Everyone is different, understood. But your reasons for not liking the EM10 sound odd to me. Too small? Isn't smaller size a major point of the MFT format? Add a grip... And controls counter-intuitive? This is one of the most customizable cameras. I mean you can even switch the directions of the wheels, and you are free to re-assign pretty much everything the way you like it.

Terrible auto-focus? Dunno... perhaps a tad slower than DSLR AF, but I have never had any issue with it. It's not like you hit 100% AF with DSLRs. Sure it can be used for moving subjects, in adequate light. Perhaps the all-in-one lens you chose wasn't a good fit. I use mostly primes, so that may account for it.
