Re: Coming full circle back to Pentax

Welcome to the club! I hope you like it here and look forward to your comments as you have such a vast experience with so many systems.
My photography hobby started in the early 1950's, mostly family and travel. Did some pro studio work with product photography using 645 format. Since I retired in 2008 I spend most of my time traveling and publish a travel blog which has quite a sizable following.
My first "real" camera was a Pentax (K2?) with a trio of primes. I switched to Olympus (highlight: OM4T) and when digital came out moved to Canon D30. Eventually switched to Sony (highlight: D700/D770), ending with the fabulous R1 and the FF A900.
When m43 came out (Panny G1) I switched, although I also tried Fuji (X-S1, still have one, and when accompanied with the X100T it makes a nice travel kit). But my main gear is now m43 (highlight: GH4 with f2.8 zooms).
However, my constant searching for the holy grail of the "perfect camera" (doesn't exist) has me enamored with Pentax, specifically, the K3II. I should be getting mine on Wednesday, along with the 16-85mm zoom.
This will be my last camera. I don't even have it yet but my wife already says "I've heard that before". I can't help it, I think I love the technology behind the gear as much as photography itself.
Lol! Be warned, the term LBA (Lens Buying Addiction) was invented by a pentaxian. Last i knew, you needed to have 5 normal focal length primes for a positive diagnosis...
In any case, thanks for the hints you've already provided, and hope I don't make a pest of myself on this forum as I'm learning the ins and outs of this system.
