Calling all X-A1 / X-M1 users
Jan 15, 2016
Hi everybody,
The X-A1 was what got me into Fuji X, almost 2 years ago now. I have since upgraded to an X-E2 and expanded my glass collection a bit, but I did keep my X-A1 as a back-up camera. Idon't use it often though but the X100 series and the now upcoming X70 got me thinking. In stead of spending lots of money on either of those fixed focal length compacts, while my X-A1 is mostly collecting dust, I should just adapt it to mimick one of those fixed focal length compacts. I did it before actually, having owned the 27mm pancake. I sold that lens to fund other Fuji glass though, so I don't have it any longer.
I'm just interested to hear how other people use their X-A1 or X-M1 as a back-up camera nowadays. Also, on a lighter note, I'm sure there are many ways to make this small excellent camera look very cool. So I'm also interested to see how you have 'adapted' yours into a very cool looking toy I'm thinking straps, cases, external viewfinders,... Gear photos more than welcome of course. Time to show off your creativity! Just for fun, and to get some ideas...
