Lens Help - 550D for travel and landscapes
Re: Lens Help - 550D for travel and landscapes

I have a Canon 550D and mistakenly (I think) bought the kit lenses (including telephoto lens) when I originally purchased the camera 3 years ago. I found the camera and lenses too cumbersome to travel with last year and left them at home. This seems ridiculous as it defies the whole point of having the camera in the first place. I like to travel reasonably light, I have 2 children and we like to travel to different destinations. Last year Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Hungary Ideally I would sell my camera and buy a mirrorless camera but fear this would be too expensive. Instead, I'm thinking about a couple of different lenses to suit my needs and make my current set up less 'weighty' I'm specifically interested in street photography, portraits and landscapes. I enjoy macro photography but may be inclined to borrow/rent whilst not on my travels.
Any recommendations would be greatly received.
Get yourself the Canon EF-S 18-135 STM Lens. I guarantee you'll not regret it.
