Consider me the rebel. I like the NX line. To invest in another brand would cost me too much. Samsung has all I need for now. By the time I'll need/want to upgrade we will be looking at all new systems of everything. So it's not like I'm really doing myself any favors by dumping the nx line.

I've yet to get the NX1 so it is still on my list. Hoping the rumors will get me it at a discount. Or Samsung/ retail stores will drop it so i can pick it up.

I just brought a cheap 50-150 and a 30mm. Thinking of maybe.. grabbing the 12-24 or manual 12mm along with 35. If the 16-50s gets cheap enough I'll grab that too.

My next manuals will all have canon mounts so I can take them with me if I ever do switch in the future. I'm loving photography so if Samsung doesn't want to stay in the game I'll just move on to the next one who captures my interest once my current gear gets boring.

I don't really understand all the hate. It's a company, not a friend. If my lens doesn't work under warranty I'm going to be screaming at them to fix it. They don't owe me anything other than what I paid for. If they wish to move on, so be it. No loyalty needed for me exist here. Even if they kept offering more lenses and say Canon offered me something similar and cheaper and it felt right I'm going to pick it up. That hasn't happened yet. I've looking at other systems and what I have right now is the best for me and that is the only reason why I'm still supporting it. To do otherwise would just be punishing myself.

I recently purchased the NX1+lenses. I completely agree (you see that in most of my other posts), and I am still waiting to see the big step that Canon HAS to make. In any way, I keep my eyes and ears open for whatever suits me, until then I am very happy with my NX system. Loyalty is a sentimental thing that doesn't fit our cynical age!
