Thanks Guy I got it to work! I also finally found the Levels option- I had to scroll down. Everything is set to ON now except something called "contact box" (whatever that is)
I think you may mean "light box", it's a means of showing images side by side.
I wonder why it is greyed out.
I've never used it but a clue as to what is happening may be on my E-PL1 page http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~parsog/olyepl1/09-epl1-lightbox.html
I really need to enable this touch AF thing, right now it just shoots a picture when I touch the screen. That magnification feature is very useful.
As I said, cycle the screens using the Info button, the full information screen that shows all the icons and settings has the touch screen control.
If the feature is active, the icon should be there, try the Info button and cycle to when it appears is my first guess.
The icon is there but when I press it with my finger nothing happens.
If the icon is there then touching it always changes it, try a moist finger. Have you applied some screen protector material, that could stop it, maybe?
It could be the Info button issue again maybe having something else on at the same time is an issue. When I went to the menu system I enabled every option, except for the aforementioned light box which is greyed out.
How do you get the vertical slider to appear on the screen, do you need to press the icon indicated by 33? I also have Face Focusing turned on, maybe that is interfering- should I turn it off?
With touch AF on as soon as the screen is touched the focus box stays there, the slider appears on the right to adjust the size.
Face recognition does not interfere on my E-PL5, the icon is always there on the left to cycle though the choices. Again, use the Info button.
I haven't seen that on the right side, probably because it instantly takes the shot when I touch the screen.
Yes, the slider only seems to appear with the touch AF function.
I'll try to install it from OV3 maybe that will make a difference. I think I have all windows updates, maybe I need to have everything else on my computer closed (including browsers.) It occurred to me that the "sharing" violation could be happening because a file is being shared with another program.
Try Googling for that fault, there usually is an answer somewhere.
