A Warrior of a Camera
4

I have had my 5D Mark 2 for about 4 years now, and no issues with it whatosever. I skipped the 5D Mark 3 for that same reason and I got no immediate plans to buy another camera anytime soon (concentrating on lenses for the time being). When comparing to the newer models the only notable difference is it's ISO performance, but then again I might be biased as I hate grain on my pictures (this camera handles ok up to ISO 1200, and I personally rather shoot at or below 800). I have a few friends who also own one and they are fine shooting at higher ISOs so this has more to do with my personal preference.

I do a lot of landscape shooting, and camera has been used under not so desirable conditions (extreme heat or cold, humidity, etc..) and never has it failed. I use it mostly with a 24-70L which is also built like a tank so your results might vary with other lenses on regards to weather conditions.

I can print photos from this camera up to 20x30" with no loss in detail or definition so I do not need more resolution. If I had bought mine for video MAYBE then it would make sense to upgrade but since I stick to mostly stills, I am VERY happy with this camera.
