Incredible shots Vass, as always. For Australians living in the south of the country the spring arrival of these most beautiful birds heralds the start of hours spent waiting at their favourite trees or burrows for that opportunity to get the best RBE shot.  Vouching for the adoration afforded these fluorescent darts the winning open digital image in my camera club's annual overall competition was one Rainbow Bee Eater perched high on a branch tossing an insect in its beak. They never loose their wonder and attraction.

Added to a wondrous psychedelic appearance is their call, a unique and unmistakable rolling whistle which is shear joy to hear.

Keep them coming Vass.
