5D mkII no audio recording internal mic
I have a problem with my 5d mkII, recording audio, it doesn't work during filming, all settings auto and manual, new firmware 2.1.2, reset setting. Still doesn't record sound.
I ve checked with external mic - does work properly.
Is it possible that is internal mic fault? Recently I received my 5d mkII from repair (CPS Hertfordshire - replaced shutter unit. Calibrated flange distance and shutter speeds. General clean and check) Is it possible internal might be not connected?
Just came across this old thread and I'm curious to hear what the problem was in the end. Only because I've had a Canon 6D back from repair, new shutter and I'm having the same problem. No audio while recording. On playback I just get a hissing and clicking noise, not good.
Was it your repair that caused the issue in the end?
