Hey everyone,

I have a problem with the last videos i have recorded.
I have recorded few short videos and when I tried to watch them on my PC with potplayer, the videos are sometimes fast motion sometimes slow motion.I also tried to watch on other media players.
I have had interlaced video problems and asked a question here before.

my camera is PAL and im using it NTSC.I don't think it is about it thou.

On your computer it doesn't matter if it's PAL or NTSC. Why don't you use Windows Media Player? I never have any problems playing my videos. Are you playing files straight from the camera or are you rendering? You might be rendering at Level 5 instead of 4.1, for example. If you bump up the target bitrate too high it will automatically up your level. This is assuming you use Premiere Pro. Otherwise, if you're playing files straight from the camera, again, use Windows Media or Quicktime (I'm guessing) if you're on a Mac. If you're STILL having problems, then it's the camera. But I doubt it.
Yes Im playing them straight from the camera for now.I also tried on windows media player,it is fast motion in some parts of the video instead of slow motion.
.

Your computer itself has major problems.

It could be infected with a virus/backdoor trojan. Or there could be serious corruption within Windows itself. You should take it in to a local computer repair shop, and have it checked out.

I am using "only" MPC-HC ... it even works with 4K files very good.
.

That switching to a different media player would help any. He has already tried 3 different ones.

Everyone is assuming that his computer is robust enough for handling video, and has no issues. That is a mistake. We know absolutely nothing at all about his PC.

Have you used some other frame rates than normal in camera. Maybe Potplayer is trying to use wrong frame rate for playing. In my PC computer the 64 bit Potplayer shows 60P fullhd in slow motion but the 32 bit Potplayer works fine. Do you use some image adjusting filters like noise reduction in Potplayer? It can slow playback.

Frame rate in player can vary a little depending on how the player is buffering the video data. Some times occasionally speeding or slowing.

Does the videos play fine in camera or in TV via HDMI or player?

While you're probably right, I did, at one time on another computer, have problems playing video files on Quicktime. The playback was choppy, but when I switched to Media Player they played fine. So it is possible.

We are getting very little in the way of useful information from the OP, to be able to diagnose what is happening. His last comment about a video being fast motion in parts, instead of being in slow motion, really does not make any sense at all to me. How could the video be expected to be either fast motion or slow motion, if it is straight out of his camera?

Or is he perhaps selecting an option in his player to play the video at a slower or faster speed? He did not say that anywhere. What is happening is very unclear.

In any event, I think that his best option is to take his computer to a service shop, and have someone look at the problem first hand. If it has been a long time since Windows was installed on the PC, it could have all sorts of issues.

Or maybe even his computer hardware itself is so old and slow, that it is not going to be able to handle video well at all.

Are you recording in different frame rates? What frame rates are you recording?

My PC can't play the 4k files from my G7 very well. However, I make 4k proxies at a very low bitrate 6-8 mbits, and they play fine, allowing me to successfully edit my 4k footage, then render out in full res 4k.

Hi again,

Sorry for the late reply,I was very busy lately.

The video is straight out of the camera. Its total lenght is 1.51 minute.

Since the time is independent variable;while playing 1.51 min. vide, sometimes it plays slow motion and (lets say) spends 20 seconds to play actually 14 seconds video,it loses 6 seconds. Then to be able to finish the video in 1.51 minute(to compensate the time it lost),it plays some parts fast motion.

No i didnt select any option to play different frame rate.I thought there is no need to say that, because if I wud have played fast or slow motion intentionally, then there wud have been no need to ask such question here.

My desktop's monitor is broken,so I am on my laptop for now which is old but I didn't have any issue playing any kind of videos on youtube full res. And I also have played 50i videos ,which I recorded, with no issue.Maybe it is not related I don't know.

This is what I am trying to find out.Yes the pc I am using for now is old,but I don't think It is about that.No issue on potplayer with 50i videos.I have had GOM player and 50i videos were interlaced,so I have switched NTSC,60p and potplayer, but now this issue.

It may be a componsation for slow or erratic file transfer speed from the camera. Copy the files to your PC HD.
Yes yes,I have also thought about that and I downloaded the file from card to my PC.I also restarted my pc and tried to play again.

Probably this is also my problem, with a difference. My pc maybe can't handle even 1080p videos lol

I don't know how to change bitrate, but I am recording the videos 60p AVCHD.

When I have such problems with photos or videos,I can't stop thinking that,it doesn't matter how high quality our videos/photos are...It is all about how we see them.

I know this is the fact but, even if we can watch lossless quality of a video/photo,the person, who is viewing/watching it,will not see what we see.

This is the digital world's reality.

And probably also the same for human eye too!

I will ask a friend to watch the video and tell me if there is a problem on her pc.

Is there a way to send a two minutes video full size?

No trouble with YouTube videos? Of course, that depends on your internet connection, not your computer unless you're downloading them to your PC and then playing them for some reason.
