By micro SD to USB "adapter", I meant "reader". Sandisk calls it a reader.

I bought all 3 as a "kit" from Costco but Amazon has them too.

I use an OTG cable like one of these, under $5

You just have to find out if your tablet or phone support OTG, not all do. The Micro SD cards are formatted as FAT32 which is why they can be read by devices like phones or tablets via OTG.

To do file transfers like copy or move, I use ES or Total Commander file managers & QuickPic gallery app v3.491 (doesn't use cloud interface nor want to update to the latest versions which are not as good?).
