Finally popped in the free Eye-Fi Mobi card that came with my K-50

The app and wifi-transfer works very well on my Samsung S6. And the K-50 has modes to keep transfers or wi-fi operation at a minimum or upon request. There is little delay in getting it to actually work...its actually easier than a few other implementations I've tried because it seems to at least save authentication (tried Canon 6D, etc).
The interoperability with Eye-Fi is not bad on the K-50, I can select images from the camera end to push to the smartphone. The best part is the in-camera RAW processing on Pentax is well done as it allows for significant 'post' ISO pulls and is fairly easy to use. You can decide to shoot RAW, pick images you want to post process, and get the images to the smartphone pretty quickly.
Overall its amazing that this cheap entry level K-50 just has me completely satisfied. Oh and trust me I had a lot of GAS issues before.
My 35mm f2.4 prime is outstanding, and the final copy of the 50mm 1.8 DA I just have I can tell is going to deliver some stunning images once I get a chance to really use it.
Here is a nice image I took from my 35mm f2.4-

I honestly *like* AA filtered 16MP sensors and prefer to sharpen them in post over the out of box aliased look that so many others seem to prefer but YMMV. If the Fuji can have no issues with printing pretty big on DPR's front page, neither will my super cheap K-50 IMO with the right lenses, technique, and PP. I find it sad how DPReview seems caught up in trying to shovel the expensive fads when Pentax has been offering practically the same capabilities for far cheaper. Did that 3k Sony RX1RII sample gallery of out of focus oversized images really impress?
Now I'm already in the mood to buy more lenses as I try to sell some of my Canon ones. There is a Sigma 35mm 1.4 that is cheap on CL...it'd be nice for the next K-1, but to be honest I don't want to deal with the size/weight, I sort of know myself by now in really wanting to pack light, and you don't get much lighter and smaller than the 35 or 50mm DA primes. I think I might get the 100mm f2.8 WR to double as telephoto duties, macro fun, and excellent or possible improved resale if the K-1 is a hit.
