Please if anyone knows how to use an metz 60ct-2 with an canon t2i please help me out. I have canon flash's however I'm a lover of my metz and it's just sitting here doing nothing. There's nothing better for me. I can't afford to upgrade to the newer ones so I would love to use the one I have....:-(

The tables here and here indicate the 60CT-2 has a trigger voltage of 28-30V which may be enough to damage your camera. You may want to consider a Wein Safe-Sync or as a cheaper alternative a pair of Yongnuo RF-603C II's which can cope with up to 300V on the hotshoe.

I do know of one Nikon user who has killed his hotshoe using an old flash (no idea what the flash was unfortunately).
