I don't have the answer; I hope someone can answer.

It seems that 3D did not succeed in the modern world. It remain a very niche only suitable for a small passionate people.

I am addicted to 3D and most of my pictures are now in 3D, but is even hard to find people to view 3D on a 3D TV more than a few minutes.

Maybe the vast amount of people are simply not interested.

I am hopping that will change.

Well, I like 3D, and still regularly watch 3D movies.

While one door closes - in this case with the disappearance of dedicated 3D cameras, another opens - with the rise of modular camera systems, like the Olympus Air.

And the new synchronization feature on GoPros that will probably become standard on more "action" cameras.

Speaking of 3D movies, have you seen the VR theater apps that are starting to appear for devices like Google Cardboard or Samsung Gear VR?

Check some out in the Play Store, like VR Theater, VR Cinema, and Go Show.

Exciting times!
