Not true. The latest Panasonic models do offer a feature called Shutter Delay. The trouble is, the shortest selectable time interval is 1 second, making the shooting experience kind of slow. It is doable for casual holiday snaps when you don't care a lot that the camera takes the picture exactly 1 second after you press the shutter button. See p. 173 of GX8 manual:

Minimising vibration of the shutter
To reduce the influence of hand shake or shutter vibration, shutter is released after the
specified time has passed.

Select the menu. (P63)
Settings: [8SEC]/[4SEC]/[2SEC]/[1SEC]/[OFF]
