I want to stay with Panasonic because I find the menu system of the Olympus cameras way too complicated.
You get the features with the Olympus that other cameras doesn't offer. The menu system in Olympus cameras is very simple and easy to use as well.
It is by far the worst I ever used and I used Panasonic, Olympus, Nikon and Canon. I found the Panny to be the best one, then Canon and Nikon (really close) and than....coming in last far away in the distance the Oly.
It used icons that are not selfexplicatory at all (what the heck do they mean!), the structure is horrible too to my mind. No structure.
It only requires that person recognize the hierarchical menu structure and then knows what is wanted, so the camera settings can be adjusted to reflect the user needs. After that menu isn't needed to be touched anymore as Super Control Panel or Live Guide has all the needed adjustments quickly available.
I use the SCP and not all options are incorporated at all. Also, the MySets use (in part) other buttons than the Fn buttons which becomes confusing. On a Panny, you can attach your personal setting to specific Fn buttons so the other buttons retain their Original function Always. Etc.
To your list, I would say that you have too options. Either never learn and get Panasonic GX8. Or then spend 10 minutes to learn efficient menu structure from Olympus and get E-M5 II.
10 minutes? Just browse through the many reviews and the many posts on fora to get a more general experience of people with this system. Even dpreview needed an expert from Oly to tell them how they could change some much needed settings on the camera in their review...
