Instead of blindly believing everything written on the interwebz, I've actually tested it out myself. With my GX8. Back to back, using mechanical & e shutter. How is it relevant? I have a D800e and a GH4 an barely notice differences in IQ. Does it mean that there ARE no discernable differences? Not really of course...
