Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM | C on M3/M10

Hello,

I'm an owner of SL1 and "Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM | C" and mainly shot on hiking and city trips.

I'm thinking of moving to/buying EOS M3/M10 + with 22mm f2 in order to gain more portability and still saving the super zoom capabilities so I'm wondering whether my current Sigma lens will work on the mirrorless new camera.

I saw that Canon published a list of lenses that won't focus nicely with the M3/M10:

I'd like to know whether anyone tried this Sigma lens using the adapter on the new M3/M10?

In parallel I've a thought of abandoning Canon and moving to Sony A5100 with 20mm f2.8 and another super zoom lens.

Another thought is staying with my current SL1  and make it more portable by buying 24mm f2.8 lens.

I'll appreciate any opinions about my thoughts
