Oly Pens (esp E-PL7 and E-P5): Does your choice of dial direction in menus affect SCP behavior?

On the Pens, you can set the dial direction in the menu to [Custom B>Dial Direction>Menu>] either (1) CCW or (2) CW to go to the next item in the menu. I use (2), since, down in the menu and CW suits me.
With my E-PL3, this has no effect on selection in the SCP, but on my E-PL6, it does! For example, when selecting IS in the SCP on the E-PL3, CW turns generate the sequence [Off -> IS1 -> IS2 -> IS3], and this is independent of the dial direction setting in menus.
With my E-PL6, using dial direction 2 (CW=next item), the IS selection sequence in the SCP is [Off -> IS3 -> IS2 -> IS1]. If I use dial direction 1 (CCW=next), I get the "proper" SCP behavior, but then I'm unhappy in the regular menu! (Note that I always get proper behavior if I "OK" past the SCP and get the horizontal list, ie, CW moves the selection to the right).
QUESTION: What happens in the SCP on other Olympus cameras? I'm especially interested in the E-PL7 and E-P5. This may be a moot point on the OMD's.
With my EP5, there is no change with either the dial on top or the 4 way buttons. They go OFF; IS1; IS2 etc.
