dry bag for kayaking

I'm in no rush as this won't matter until summer, but I'm asking now because I'm thinking about it. Our summer trip next year will include kayaking around the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario. I'd like to take my K-3 and/or K-50 along with WR lenses. Even though they're WR, I'd still like to have them in a dry bag except when shooting.

While looking for one, I notice that there are (at least) two types: coated nylon , and thicker PVC. The lighter weight appeals to me for packability, but I don't want to sacrifice usefulness if the PVC type is significantly better at keeping out water. I'd appreciate any input from folks who have used this type of product -- is either of these types better than the other?
