Hi guys,
Just want to share a little bit about my equipment Samsung NX300. to make it simple, it its a good camera, easy to carry, and produce a pretty good images even with kits lens, but of course, it have several weaknesses too. Below i will point out several strong point and weak point of this camera.
Strong Point
- Lightweight, easy to be carried anywhere
- Touchscreen LED, pretty responsive, pretty clear and it's not static LED
- Easy to use, good control over the manual setting, thanks to the Ifn button on the lens.
- Long battery life, personally i use it for almost a day, and it only run out at evening.
Weak Point
- Lack of Lens choices
- A little bit hard to take a low light photos without a good flash
- The screen is not variangle tilt, you can only move it up and down. but it still nice
- No EVF which make me a little bit sad, but the liveview give me a better compensation on it.
It's not fair (nor is it appropriate) to call an intentional design feature a weak point - or a negative. I'm not picking on you, as I see it all the time - even by "professional" reviewers. You were aware before you bought the camera that it has no EVF, then call it a weak point. If Samsung put an EVF on it you might be saying the size/weight are weak points (listed by you as a strong point.) This applies as well to the tilt angle of the screen (for many of us a single-axis tilting screen is a big plus.)
Reviews should be relative to the product design and its direct peers. If you buy a camera that doesn't have features you want, you should complain that you bought the wrong camera - no?
If you buy a compact car because you're interested in fuel mileage you couldn't very well complain that it can't tow a trailer like your old pickup truck did.
All that aside, welcome to the site - enjoy the day!
