Replying to myself on an old thread, since I was very recently very disappointed to notice that the dreaded banding is very much still present with EM-5mkII Ruined a bunch of unique shots in China, which I will not be able to reproduce anytime soon if ever. So I'm really angry right now, and will be selling my 20mm once again (probably replacing with Oly 25mm).

Here are some samples with pretty horrible case of banding (first at 6400, the other two at 12800 ISO) - straight out of RAW-files from Lightroom with no edits but resized to 2000px wide.
