Fujifilm x100t vs X-T10 for long-term use

Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of selling my Nikon D7000 and the prime lenses I've got because I just can't lug around the heavy equipment anymore, and want a camera that I can carry with me at all times. At this point I am deciding between the single focal length x100t and the X-T10 with either a 23mm or 27mm lens.

Some of the things I have to consider: I am enrolled in a photo course my next semester, so this camera/lens combo will be act as an accompaniment to my Canonet QL17 rangefinder during the class. I am open to any advice on which of the cameras you think is more suitable for this is.

I also intend to have whichever camera I buy long term, so I'm trying to figure out if it would make more sense to buy into the X-T10, which would obviously allow me to use other lenses down the line. However I probably wouldn't end up buying any lens other than another small prime, probably 35mm ... Basically, I cannot yet decide. Any advice is appreciated.
