Touch screens.............good, bad ????

In case of the G9 X where smallest size a priority there's limited exterior area for dials/ buttons; especially with the large LCD display that reduces rear body surface area for dials/ buttons.

For larger compacts would want dials/buttons for most common settings (e.g., G15, G1 X, etc.), and touch screen for quicker access in navigation through menu options/ settings.

Digital cameras have far too settings/ features to access via with only dials and buttons.

After using my S110 and 70D touch screens for navigating through menus, far easier/ quicker than using the rear dial/ 4-way arrow/cursor buttons on my cameras that do not have touch screen.
