I think meland wants it written out in crayons. The number of people who take photographs keeps increasing, espcially in developing economies like India, and South America. But he thinks that they will never progress past the cel-phone camera phase and if they do, all they will buy are D-SLRS's from Canikon.

Germans as a whole love photography and own at least one camera, doesn't surprise me that it is tough to break into that market, just like Chevy trying to compete against VW, but it doesn't mean Chevrolet is going out of businesss.

I'm not sure whether the problem is that English is not your first language. Or possibly that you are just very young. Or essentially that you might be a bit dim. Either way feel free to attack me if you wish, but Samsung, without any help from you or me, will do what they decide to do and that's the end of the matter really.

I'm 13 years old, I started taking English courses last week, and my comments still make more sense than your emotional responses.

Also great photographs in your galleries!.... 5,300 posts, 4 years as a "senior member" in a "photography" forum, yet not a single image, gotta love those keyboard warriors

How does your ad hominem remark help any of us on this issue? Mostly such a remark is done to detract from someones general credibility

On the contrary, it is re-assuring to see a camera i.d. via exif info to confirm the authenticity of various posts. This is not a personal attack. The fact that no images have been posted during 5300 posts on its own raises creditbility questions.

I never research fellow members. I go by their word.

I am here for photography not for character research.

on all issues but most of all the current one. And yes, I noted his remark too. So may be we can keep things on topic and not on the person?
