Near Perfect

I love my 16-35 f/4 G. I use it on my D3 or D4, and I'm consistently amazed by it's corner-to-corner sharpness, even wide-open. There is only the minimum of distortion typically associated with a lens like this at 16mm, and it's easily corrected in Photoshop if need be. Even shooting almost into incident light this lens remain sharp and diffraction-free. I have yet to shoot in any situation where I can say the lens failed me. Against? It's not small or light - but then neither is a D4. It overwhelms my D600 though.
