A string search is what lead me to the function that takes care of setting up the camera for recording purposes. There's an attribute called "target-time-limit" that is passed to mm_camcorder_set_attributes. The variable below that variable that holds "target-time-limit" on the stack is the time, in seconds. From there, it's fairly easy to go up through the function to see where it's being limited. 30 minutes is the limit, which is represented as hex value 0x707. At some point, the variable does a comparison against 0x707, and assigns it that number if it's over. Might be easier to do a search for 0x707 as a starting point.
